Keegan O'Neil

Director of Fundraising

Keegan began playing soccer at 5 years old and hasn't gone a year without playing since. Originally from Cedar Rapids, IA where his mom founded and coached the first women's soccer team in the city, Keegan played YMCA, Club, and high school soccer growing up. His lifelong passion for soccer and travel have led him to kickarounds in Nigeria and Sunday leagues in Mexico, where he saw firsthand the importance that community-based small-sided soccer games have on the development of the sport. He has six years of coaching experience and program development at the middle school level as Head and Assistant coach at the International School of Denver.

Keegan graduated with a BA in International Studies & African Languages from the University of Wisconsin where he began his ten year fundraising career, raising over $3 million in individual gifts for educational institutions. He is currently exploring Masters programs in Applied Physiology and pursuing a USA Triathlon coaching certification.
